When is the hire period?

The site is let to you for a 4 day period for 1 event.  If your event is on a Saturday, then this will be from 9am on Thursday until 5pm on Monday.  This allows you the time and freedom to set your event up as you want.

Do you have any recommended suppliers?

We do not recommend suppliers as believe in allowing you the freedom to plan your event as you want it.  However, there are many local companies in and around Clavering who are used to running events at Kings Water Lake.

Can we camp?

Yes, you and your guests can camp on the site by prior arrangement.  There is a £20 charge per tent.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking for around 30 cars on site.

Do you have a water and electricity supply?

There is an electrial connection point on site. There is no water supply, but most toilets are self contained and most caterers used to outside catering will have their own water supply.

Are there toilets?

No, the field is let as a bare field.  You will need to arrange toilet facilities and any other services.

Is there a curfew?

For our neighbours benefit we insist that all noise ceases and the site is cleared by midnight.

What will be growing in the fields next to the lake?

The fields adjacent to the lake are part of a working farm and cropping will vary each year.  What is in the field will depend on the time of year and many factors.  We cannot guarantee whether a field will be standing or will have been harvested as this will depend on the agronomical requirements of the crop.
